University of the Philippines Mindanao
If you are in the Mindanao area and you’ve been wanting to study in UP, you might as well consider the Mindanao campus as your first choice campus in your UPCAT application form. This “green” campus is situated in Davao city and has three colleges: College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) and School of Management (SOM). University of the Philippines Visayas
UP Visayas is composed of three campuses wherein two of the three campuses are located in Iloilo and one in Leyte. Geographically located near shorelines, their focus and main specialization is on marine education with a vision of being a world class university in education, research and development on fisheries and aquatic sciences. In fact, UPV has topped the Fisheries Technologist Board Exam 2016 for top performing schools and eight students even made it to top 10 passers in which one stood proudly on the 1st place. University of the Philippines Cebu
This UP campus has been part of the UP Visayas campuses but became an autonomous campus for already seven years. Just this 2016, UP Cebu has been declared as part of the UP system constituent. Although it became an autonomous campus just recently, it is the oldest among campuses outside Luzon being established in 1918. In 2007, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has awarded UP Cebu as the Center of Excellence in Information Technology Education. University of the Philippines Los Baños
If you are leaning towards agricultural courses, UPLB is the perfect choice. International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture are housed in this campus. With 29 undergraduate programs and 100 graduate courses offered along with its numerous local and international partners, this is one of the best go to campus. Not only in agriculture does UPLB excel but they also take pride in their industrial engineering for having a 100% passing rate in the 8th Certified Industrial Engineering (CIE) Certification Exam held last December 2016. University of the Philippines Manila
Located in the bustling city of Manila, UPM is best known for its excellence in health sciences. Their college of medicine is one of the most coveted colleges for the study of medicine. In fact, their College of Medicine and College of Nursing are recipients of Center of Excellence awarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
It has nine degree granting units that pursue and provide the highest quality of education mixed in with intensive research and community service. University of the Philippines Diliman
UPD maintains its rooting on being the top university in the Philippines. It offers a wide array of degree programs to choose from. Its campus is located in Quezon City with 493 hectares catering more or less half of the total population of the whole UP system.
University of the Philippines Baguio
The cold weather in Baguio makes it more appealing to students to enrol in this UP campus which is located up north. But aside from the weather and the environment, this campus has a high academic performance. In fact, it is ranked 19th in the top universities of the Philippines 2017. In 2006, UPB was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education as the Center of Development in Mathematics.
